From the figure:-

Tanθ =  3/4


so,  Î¸ = 36.86 degree


Forces in X- direction


 T1cos36.86 = T2cos45

           

                 T1= 0.8897T2.....................................................(1)


Also, Forces in Y-direction 


T1sin36.86 + T2sin45 = 340 lb


(0.8897T2)(0.599) + T2(0.7071) = 340 lb     .........................[from Eq (1)]


So,                    T2 =  274.186 lb 

               

                           Fbc = 274.186 lb  ......................Answer


Also ,                 T1  =  (0.8897)(274.186) 


                            T1 = 243.94 lb


So,                       Fab = 243.94 lb   ....................Answer
